I’m becoming a bit of a specialist at these Wordpress-based multimedia sites. The latest is “Voice of the BBC World Service”, Mike Cooper. The brief was to produce a flexible, Google optimised and easily-updated site. Mike hadn’t considered Wordpress as he thought it was just a blogging platform. I think I proved that it can be used a multi-faceted content management system capable of delivering much richer content than mere diary entries. http//www.mikecoopervoiceover.com

Just completed a new version of www.piersgibbon.com the whole site was ported from Joomla to Wordpress so most of the changes are under the bonnet. I built a whole new theme based on the old Joomla template which was an interesting challenge as the two systems have such different architectures but Piers much prefers the Wordpress admin so hopefully he’ll update and develop the site a lot in the coming months.
I’m delighted to have been included in the pages of www.coolhomepages.com. It’s the biggest, longest-running and my personal favourite of the best-of-the-web galleries. I often visit it if inspiration dries up and it’s a genuine honour to have had Pixelcloud selected.
